Liona Boyd Match 2003 Newsletter
Dear Friends and Fans of Liona:
After a long northern Virginia winter with over 68 inches of snow, we wish you all the best for an enjoyable spring (and a great autumn to our south-of-the-equator friends).
If you check out our site www.lionaboyd.com you can see some amazing new photos of Liona with her infamous neighbour Ozzy Osbourne! Just click on the “Personal Album” link.
We have just received copies of a double CD box-set from Somerset Entertainment entitled “Intimate Classics – Liona Boyd”. These CD’s are compilations from previous albums and consist of two CD jewel boxes in a card slip case and are shown in the attachment to this e-mail.
Disc 1, Timeless Masterpieces features pieces by various composers.
Disc 2, Personal Expressions, features pieces written by Liona.
These CD sets are being made available by Liona to her Friends and Fans at US$19.50 each + S&H. To order, please complete the online order form at www.lionaboyd.com or www.classicalguitar.com and mention the F&F double CD set in the Comments box. Unfortunately, since these albums were sent directly to us they are not autographed by Liona.

These CD ROM’s were burned from the original masters and are of superior quality compared to the LP’s and cassettes. We are offering them at $14 each + standard S&H per order, or, buy all 5 for $60 with free S&H to the US and Canada. For other countries we will deduct US$4.50 from the S&H charges.
Liona hopes to release her own compilation CD later this year, and we wish to thank all of you who responded with suggestions for the Title as well as pieces to include on the album. We are still taking suggestions and will forward them all to Liona. Please e-mail your suggestions to wpowis@att.net or smmo@lionaboyd.com
On another subject, we are out of Spanish Album color photos, but have received new and different autographed 8x10 photos of Liona. That you can see under the Photos link on the site. In addition we have a limited quantity of a stunning rose garden (color) 8x10 photo of Liona. The order form still shows Spanish Album for the color photo, so please indicate the color photo(s) that you wish to order in the comments box.
The rosegarden photo is also available for you to use as FREE wallpaper- a new feature on the site. Just click on the Wallpaper link on the main page, right-click on the downloaded photo, select “Save as” and save it to your Liona or wallpaper file folder.
Finally we wish to remind Canadians and US residents near the Canadian border that Liona was nominated for a Juno Award for Instrumental Album of the Year (Camino Latino). The Juno awards will be televised live on April 6th, 2003 at 8 pm Eastern Time on the CTV network.
