I have a friend owning a good western restaurant and coffee bar near Sanlitun area. In his restaurant, he had a piano and a girl coming to play it every night. But there are so many restaurant with piano so not too much people appreciate it and come for enjoying it.
I have an idea to invite some good CLASSICAL guitar players to play in his bar like one night out of a week. This will first help some guitar players to earn some money from their interests and also we can have a chance to get together more frequently to talk to improve our skills.
I would like to know how many people showes interests in this idea.
I definitely agree on this suggestion! Most of us beginners could not communicate face to face , the way through which we can quickly improve our techniques and help ourselves understand more of the art of guitar.
Once this has been achieved, i think i will go and listen, no matter how far it is.
You are too humble. Kangkang and his fellows are too big stars to play in restaurant. I an sure they will refuse to contract themselves to play once every week.
I somethimes go to have dinner at Italian restaurant of Kempinski ( Yansha ) Hotel and listen to 2 classical guitar players there. Do you know the 2 players? Can you recommend somebody else?

Sanlitun is right in the embassy area where many foreign devils enjoy their lives in China. That is why there are so many western restaurants and bars around that area. Of course, there is almost no Classical Guitar bar or restaurant in that area. That is why I am thinking of setting one up.
Sorry that my computer does not have Chinese entry. Otherwise I will use Chinese in stead of English. I hate this computer but it is a good one ( Sony Vaio Thin).
I need to volunteers to be the players. Hope we can make the idea work so everybody has a chance to meet regularly.
It sounds like many people like the idea, please recommand 2 players. They should be able to play many romantic small pieces and 2 or 3 big one. If somebody wants to play, please contact me through my MSN or email.
