John Mayer吉他设备详解
作为一名白人Blues吉他手，歌手，John Mayer将Blues音乐带给了主流听众，给Blues带来了新的活力，在这一点上他的地位与Eric Clapton相当；近几年更是四次获得格莱美最佳男歌手奖，在全球范围内风光无限。John Mayer的音乐旋律优美，律动突出，情绪饱满，他更有一个专门演奏摇滚以及Blues的三人乐队“John Mayer Trio”，音色更加狂野，现场表现张力十足。可以说John Mayer是目前欧美主流音乐圈当中最出色的吉他手。当然有很多人认为他的音乐太迎合大众，在吉他演奏方面，控制上比不上Jeff Beck，创新上比不上John Scofield等等，但是回归本源，没人能否认他的东西“好听”，无论是主流听众还是Blues听众，都能从他的歌曲里面找到共鸣。
他的吉他音色一直在吉他手中成为津津乐道的话题。他在他的个人作品中将电吉他Tube Overdrive音色发挥到了极致，甜美而温暖，而在John Mayer Trio中又回归根源Blues的粗犷和迷幻时期的Fuzz音色。还有他华丽的原声吉他演奏，无一不成为大家学习的对象。
