SE Silver Sky与美产版本最大的调整就是指板弧度，由美产的7.25"调整为略现代的8.5"。现代多数吉他指板弧度设计在10-16"之间，
但PRS选择复古吉他玩家钟爱的复古弧度手感基础上，加入一些略平坦的现代感觉。
SE Silver Sky 拾音器配置是经由John Mayer和PRS共同研发设计的一款复古向拾音器：饱满圆润，晶莹剔透的高频音色，
