1916年代Kumalae gold award Hawaii尤克里里

Johnah Kumalae was part of the second generation of ukulele makers starting in 1911. He quickly became one of the most prodigious ukulele makers around - making around 300 a month according to Jim Beloff's The Ukulele: A Visual History. This may account for the fact that, despite them being high quality ukuleles, they can usually be bought cheaper than most Hawaiian ukuleles of the same era.

Kumalae的历史：
Johnah Kumalae是夏威夷的第二代制琴师，也是夏威夷著名商人，政治家，社会活动家，音乐家……（头衔真多）他的家庭作坊从1911年开始制作Ukulele，比Kamaka早了5年，并达到了月产300把的水平。
Kumalae是夏威夷早期首屈一指的制琴师之一，他的琴在1914年巴拿马太平洋万国博览会上获得了金奖，于是，从1915年开始他的logo上出现了“gold award”这个字样。
Kumalae第一个把Ukulele这种海岛乐器推广到了北美大陆，被音乐史界认为引发第一次Ukulele流程风潮。大概在1940年以后Kumalae就不再从事Ukulele的事业（其他生意做得太好了吧？！）

近年来，Kumalae Ukulele的牌子重新开始生产，不过产地变成了印尼，产品也沦为二线，不再有当年的辉煌。此琴为成都琴友 千里杀将 淘于ebay，已转手至北京~ 产于1916年的夏威夷Kumalae ukulele
指板和面板一体，品丝很细，指板超薄，bridge和saddle一体，bridge有残缺
背板曾经有过修补，推测漆可能也整体重涂过，旋钮为后来安装的普通小提琴旋钮，aquila弦

貌似彩虹人复刻的就是这款吧~
好有感觉的琴啊~我在想，应该不用交专利费了，因为已经100年了。。。

彩虹人复刻的是另外更早的一款，不是kumalae

不过那时候的结构和造型有形似之处

這古董琴不宜用Aquila 弦, 應該選用一些低拉力的弦線。例如 Martin 或 Worth String等，拉力太大琴橋受不了力會與主體分離，同時Aquila 不能帶出這琴實質應有美妙的聲音來，請加多留意。

没有上紧弦，只是供着而已……
